Obama's a PC?

Via Paul Otellini's comments touting Intel's U.S. factory investments Tuesday, we learn that President Barrack Obama uses a PC. ComputerWorld reported: "Otellini said Obama called him last night to congratulate him on company's decision. The president 'reminded me that he sees the Intel logo every morning when he opens up his laptop; I was pleased to hear that,' he noted." (Via AllThingsD.)

That seems to contradict earlier reports that Obama used a Mac. AllThingsD confirmed that although most Macs run Intel chips, they don't have stickers exclaiming as much, unlike PCs. But maybe he sees the logo somewhere else?

[Update, Thursday, 6:19 a.m.: Reader and ~~Mac user~~ Terrance writes in the comments, "I see the Intel logo every morning, too...on my monitor. It's the very first thing to appear after I hit the power button" and when bringing his laptop out of hibernation. "So yeah, he could be using a Mac." Thanks, Terrance. Update, Thursday, 2:52 p.m.: Terrance clarifies, in another comment, that he's in fact not a Mac user. Apologies for the presumption based on the earlier comment.]

Recall, however, that the Obama team, accustomed to working on Macs, was stymied by the old PCs they encountered when moving into the White House last month.
