Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV software now used by 2 million subscribers

Microsoft now counts more than 2 million subscribers to service providers using its Mediaroom Internet protocol television (IPTV) software. That's up from 1.5 million in September, when the company announced new advertising capabilities for the software, which is used by providers such as AT&T. The company is announcing the milestone at the TelecoTV conference in Anaheim.
