Microsoft exec in charge of Windows Experience makes WSJ's 'Women to Watch' list

Julie Larson-Green, the Microsoft exec who regularly takes a public role in high-profile demonstrations of Windows, is the first executive from the company to be named to The Wall Street Journal's global "Women to Watch" list, published today.

Some details on Larson-Green from the Journal write-up and her Microsoft official bio:

Age: 46, at Microsoft 16 years

Title: Corporate Vice President, Windows Experience, in charge of designing the user experience for Windows 7, including "program management, user interface design and research, as well as assistance and support technologies." Oversees a staff of 430.
Notable: Came to Windows from Office, where she led redesigned user interface. Described by the Journal as "a rare female software engineer [at Microsoft]."
Education: The Washington native earned a master's in software engineering from Seattle University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Washington University.
