Yusuf Mehdi, the Microsoft veteran who's had a number of key jobs at the company, has been named to head audience marketing at MSN and search business.
Mehdi, a senior vice president, had been working on business development and strategic partnerships, including the acquisition of aQuantive and the attempt to buy Yahoo.
