Microsoft continues downward trend in August search share

Microsoft again lost Internet search market share in August, according to figures released Thursday by comScore.
Microsoft's Live Search engine had 8.3 percent of the U.S. search market in August, down from 8.9 percent in July.
Here's how the company's competitors fared:
Google added 1.1 percentage points to 63 percentYahoo lost 0.9 percentage points to 20.5 percent
Ask Network gained 0.3 percentage points to 4.8 percent
AOL gained 0.1 percentage points to 4.3 percent
