Xbox marketing director now at YouTube
Posted by Benjamin J. Romano
AdWeek reports that Chris Di Cesare, a veteran at Microsoft who was most recently director of creative marketing for Xbox, is now the director of marketing at Google-owned YouTube.
Di Cesare moved to the online video site two months ago after 12 years with Microsoft during which he led the marketing team for the launch of "Halo 2," according to this slightly dated bio from Microsoft. AdWeek reports that he was also involved with the launch of the Xbox and Xbox 360 consoles.
The marketing position is new at YouTube. Di Cesare will report to the site's co-founder, Chad Hurley.
