TV Alert: Storm's Doppler on Weather Channel

Posted by Jayda Evans

Doppler.jpgMany started to miss Marc Taylor before the Storm season even ended last summer. That's because he embodied the Storm's mascot Doppler and former Sonics' Squatch for so long, becoming an icon himself with silly antics and dangerous tricks. But Taylor was under contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder, having to relocate with the NBA team.

His replacement? Well, we'll give them a full season before really giving an opinion. Remember many weren't too happy about Doppler's love to drop his pants in the beginning either.

And hopefully the pants stay on tonight when the furry jokester is featured on the Weather Channel at 6:50 p.m. The weather has been gorgeous, but rain is expected in Seattle the rest of the week, making a need for Doppler on the station. Oh, and I'm sure there's something to say about the Storm's upcoming season.
