Storm's Yolanda Griffith signs with Indiana

Well, C Yolanda Griffith will be back another year, only it'll be suiting up with a different Australian in PG Tully Bevilaqua in Indiana. Griffith (pictured right in green) signed with the Fever today.

Many are concluding that this also means two-time MVP Lauren Jackson will sign with Phoenix, leaving PG Sue Bird and F Swin Cash as the only remaining glitter from last season's flurry of star-studded signings. Storm coach Brian Agler, who is also the team's director of player personnel, is currently in Spain. He also stated that he wanted Griffith back, but talks with her agent broke down.

Griffith was a rock inside the locker room and on the court for the Storm during the franchise-best 22-12 season. She fought through minor injuries and nagging knee trouble to average 7.2 points (a career-low) and 6.3 boards.
