Checking in on Sacramento

Sacramento is last in the West, but that doesn't mean much since they're only four games out of first place. The Monarchs usually have a field day against the Storm at Arco Arena with their purple haze defense, we'll see if it's the same without longtime star C Yolanda Griffith, who's making her first trip home since leaving as a free agent in March.
The Monarchs are more concerned about themselves, so expect fans to give Yo a big welcome, then return to their aggressive cheering style to help snap their team out of a two-game losing slump. Both loses were on the road.
Seattle just began shoot-around at Arco Arena. Our newspaper didn't travel, but I should have an update soon about F Kristen O'Neill. She made the trip, but her seven-day contract expires today. She's expected to be signed to another, but it will be her last before coach Brian Agler has to make a decision to sign her for the remainder of the season or left her go. O'Neill could return to the practice squad and be signed through the remainder of the season later, too.
