Burse update
Posted by Jayda Evans
Storm center Janell Burse did injure her left wrist against Washington on Tuesday. She thinks the injury occurred early in the second quarter, but continued to play and would have finished the game had she not been benched with four fouls in the third quarter.
Burse had an X-ray at Verizon Center, which did not show any fractures. Another X-ray after returning to Seattle today also didn't show any damage. Burse is in pain, though, and will likely skip practice Thursday. She plans to have an MRI, probably after the session.
