The block

So, you've probably heard about Storm All-Star Sue Bird's shot by now. Well, you may not know she can block, too.

In the second quarter Bird guarded New York forward Cathrine Kraayeveld (a Kirkland native) on the wing and as the 6-foot-4 post attempted a three-pointer, Bird blocked the shot. OK, it was closer to Kraayeveld's release at her hip and not midair, but still a sweet play.
