All-Star reserves announced
Posted by Jayda Evans
Was sent a link to the expected All-Star reserves, although it's not supposed to be announced until later today. Why the delay, I don't know. Oh, wait. It's public now.
Anyway, no other Storm players were named and Phoenix F Penny Taylor is on the list, so no tattoo for teammate Diana Taurasi. Glad Houston F Tina Thompson is on the list as well as Asjha Jones of the Connecticut Sun. But I can't believe New York has no one. That's just wrong and a total flub by the Eastern Conference coaches. Especially since Indiana F Anna DeForge is a starter -- although that's the fans' fault.
WNBA president will name injury replacements for Storm guard Sue Bird (knee) and Detroit forward Cheryl Ford (knee) soon. Let's hope a Liberty is in there.
