Scratch Yolanda Paige or any of the other free agents that were cut during Storm training camp as possibilities for a return. Several sources said the team is going in a different direction to find a guard to replace center Tye'sha Fluker on the roster.
The signing could be announced as early as Wednesday, but the potential player is not expected to play in the team's back-to-back road trip in Houston and San Antonio this weekend. She could play in the matchup against Los Angeles on July 10 at the Staples Center because the Storm will have time to practice and get her adjusted to the new system.
