Keller was none too happy about his red card and subsequent one-game disqualification.
(On how the team performed a man down) "I thought Ben, the team, I thought everybody played great. I'm just very disappointed. I just did not see Kansas scoring at all. Like I said, we were by far the better team the second half. Out shot them, out played them, out possession, out everything, you would've thought we were the team with the advantage so on that side, I'm extremely proud of everybody for the effort that they put forward in an adverse situation. That obviously shows the credit to this team and that we're definitely going to win a lot of games this year."
(On how frustrating sitting out will be) "That's going to be a monster. I never miss games. Having to watch the rest of the game from in here was really tough, but then having to know that I can't play the next game is eating me alive as well. That's the double wammy. We are a good team, and we're going to down to Chivas and we're going to show it."

(On preparing his team for the atmosphere at Qwest Field) "Yeah, we trained all week on synthetic, which I think helped us adapt to the game a little faster. Having said that I think it took us about ten minutes to get our rhythm. We were playing against a very good team, and had to talk about the things they do very well. At the same time we had to do things we do well and put them on there heels. We felt like we had a good week of training and good preparation. We were pleased with the outcome."

(On scoring the goal) "I had the ball right in front of me and took a touch, the coaches are always telling me to shoot. I tried to keep it on target and make the keeper make a play."
(On coming away with a win against the Sounders FC on the road) "It is a great win for us. They had a great start, they are a very good team and we knew that coming in. It is a very good thing for the league when new teams come in and the fans support the way they do. It is all very positive. Obviously it ended with a very good result for us."
GK KEVIN HARTMANG
(On the type of atmosphere at Qwest field) "The support was amazing. When we were walking in, I thought that it was one of the most European places I have ever played. The turf is a little bit of a bugger, but it played pretty well. The fans were there to support and they were fair. They were knowledgeable fans; they weren't fans just there in mind. I thought they knew when to cheer."
(On stopping the Sounders FC offense) "Obviously they have a huge threat up top with [Nate] Jaqua. I think we have two of the better center heading center backs in the league with [Aaron] Holbein and [Jimmy] Conrad. He was able to go in there with both of them and win a lot of balls. [Fredy] Montero has an unbelievable strike, I think the free kick looked like it was five feet over the goal, and it hit the top of the post. He is a really crafty guy. We just did our best job to surround him. When they went a man down it made it more difficult for them. That being said I think they out played us the first 15 minutes of the second half. Once we got the first goal we were able to keep our space and stay disciplined."
