Jeff Parke is here

It's true. He was wearing No. 25 in blue for Sounders FC in its 5-0 reserve game win over Concordia University of Portland this afternoon at Qwest Field.
The central defender started for Seattle about 24 hours after arriving in town. He attended last night's opener.
It seems the team is open to start discussing with Parke his future with the team. He has to sign a contract with the league or be traded. Parke was the only expansion draftee not to be under contract when selected, and opted to try his luck in Europe and not come to Seattle while he explored free agency.
Parke would have to miss three more games to complete a suspension he was given for violation of the MLS substance abuse and behavioral healthy policy near the end of last season. The suspension was for 10 games; three have been served. UPDATE: Seven have been served including playoffs from 2008, thanks viennacoup.
Parke would provide depth on defense, but perhaps lost more interest in joining Sounders FC after the team brought in Tyrone Marshall and Jhon Kennedy Hurtado, who are both starters at central defender, Parke's position.
