The Sonics held a summer league team tryout for 19 players on Thursday and Friday.
The team made three players (Anthony Roberson, John Lucas III and Dahntay Jones) available to the press, but declined to provide a complete roster of players at the camp.
Still some of the invitees included former Washington Husky standout Will Conroy, PG Earl Calloway and 6-11 center Larry Turner of the NBDL's Fort Wayne Mad Ants and 6-10 forward Kevin Lyde who played with the Dakota Wizards of the D-League.
The most experienced players in camp were Roberson, Lucas and Jones.
Roberson spent a season in Memphis and Golden State, Lucas played two seasons with the Houston Rockets and Jones played last season in Sacramento before two seasons in Memphis.
Roberson, Lucas and Jones said the Sonics were looking to improve their defensive toughness and all three players fit the bill.
Jones, a 6-6 wing, can play three positions and has built a reputation a poor man's Bruce Bowen. He'll meet with 4-5 teams, including Indiana, Golden State and Denver.
