Lineup shakeup
Posted by Percy Allen
Coach P.J. Carlesimo hinted after Tuesday's practice that he may make shakeup the lineup after tonight's game against Phoenix.
He said reserve center Mouhamed Sene, who was recalled from the NBA Developmental League last week, isn’t likely to make his first start any time soon.
If you haven't read it, be sure to read Steve Kelley's scathing column on the Sonics. I loved this line: "The Washington Generals showed more heart when they used to lose every night to the Globetrotters.
In fact, comparing the Generals to the Sonics is an insult to the Generals. At least the Generals used to chase after the Globetrotters' weave. They lunged for rebounds when the Globetrotters shot free throws with that ball that was tethered to their shooting hand."
Here's the link to Steve's story.
Also, Jerry Brewer's Q&A debuts today so check that out and here's the report from Tuesday's practice.
As for the arena news, Commish David Stern spoke with Stephen A. Smith on ESPN radio yesterday and basically bashed the last-ditch effort to save the team. I don't know how the league can turn it's back on someone like Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, who is one of the richest men in the country.
