Sonics court date set

Judge Marsha Pechman set a June 16 trial date for the court case involving the City of Seattle and SuperSonics to determine the team's future in Seattle under the KeyArena lease, which doesn't expire until 2010. The Sonics have filed for relocation to Oklahoma City, the base of chairman Clay Bennett and the ownership group. Bennett's lawyers wanted a speedy resolution, requesting a March 24 trial date, but it was not granted. You can read more details here.
