Seems a lot of players are going to have career nights against the Sonics as Seattle sloughs through a rough first year in its rebuilding plan. Mark former Washington standout Bobby Jones as one of them. He was signed to a second 10-day contract following an electric night for Memphis against the Supes on Friday.
Jones defended Kevin Durant well in his first start as a Griz, forcing the rookie to miss five of his first six shots, and Jones finished with career highs in points (20), rebounds (13), and assists (seven). A second-year swingman, Jones was waived by Denver earlier this season and signed his first 10-day contract with Memphis on Jan. 10.
