Practice in DC

As expected the District guys (Kevin Durant, Jeff Green and Delonte West) commanded a lot of attention from the media hounds after today's practice. Each did an interview with local media. Nothing earth-shattering to report. They're happy to be home and excited to play in front of family and friends.
Durant expects 50 or so on his guest list. West has been through this before so his ticket demand isn't nearly as high. Green received visits from many friends at Georgtown and there's a chance that ex-Hoyas coach John Thompson will attend tomorrow's game.
INJURY UPDATE --- F/C Kurt Thomas didn't practice because of tendinitis in his left knee. He wore street clothes and watched from the sidelines. Coach P.J. Carlesimo didn't seem overly concerned and expects Thomas to start against Washington.
As for F Chris Wilcox (dislocated right pinky), well, he's still back in Seattle and will certainly not play agianst the Wizards. The chances of him flying out for Tuesday's game at Cleveland and Wednesday's at New Jersey is also very slim.
