Still mending

Sonics guard Luke Ridnour felt soreness in his partially torn left quadriceps at practice on Monday. He played 12 minutes in the Sunday loss at New Orleans after missing the previous 12 games due to the injury.
Seattle had only a light session and reviewed film. So, Ridnour is a game-time decision for Tuesday's game against Chicago, as is guard Delonte West, who shot baskets on Monday but hasn't played since Dec. 2 due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot.
Center Kurt Thomas did not practice because of swelling in his upper lip. He suffered the injury against the Hornets and needed three stitches. Sonics coach P.J. Carlesimo said Thomas should be fine to start, however.
On the docket is more minutes for rookie Jeff Green, averaging 18.6 minutes his past five games, and hopefully a better start than the one displayed in New Orleans.
The Bulls are a lowly 6-12, but Chicago has started to play like people predicted it would prior to the season, winning three of its past five games. Carlesimo, still fuming at Sunday's 91-88 loss, warned that if his team begins the game similar to the way it started against the Hornets, "we won't be down 11 points at the half, we'll be down 111."

It is about time the Sonics lineup changed for the better because PJ Carlesimo's five just has not done any better. The new five should be Durant, Green, Petro, Wilcox or Sene and Gelabale. Kurt Thomas and maybe Wilcox are injured. I believe these group should be given some look because Carlesimo has already tried the others and has not proven they deserve to be in the game with their mental errors and lack of talent. Basketball is mostly talent and if they lack it, they don't have much chance in the league!
