Playoff time

Posted by Jose Romero at 5:23 PM

So there you have it, Seahawks-Cowboys. Should be a fun one. You have to cringe at the thought of the Seahawks sending Kelly Jennings and Jordan Babineaux in there against Terrell Owens and Terry Glenn. But Babineaux has made big plays before against the Cowboys (remember last season at Qwest?) and Jennings has been pretty sound in his two games of extended action. So we'll see.

The Cowboys aren't exactly coming to Seattle on a high note. They've lost three of their last four games.

The Seahawks needed a win today, I felt, even though some guys downplayed it. And they did what they had to do. The defense is playing better, save for a long run or pass play here and there, and the offense might finally be starting to click.

On a personal note, Happy New Year to all the readers and fans and thanks for your time and support this season. May you ring it in with style and good fortune.
