It was the highest scoring average against the Seahawks ever in the month of October, and it ranked right up there with Seattle's worst months in points allowed. The Seahawks gave up 34.5 points in November 1983. They went 2-2 that month and that season they went to the AFC Championship game. Seattle allowed 32.8 points in November 1980 and went 0-5 that month. The Seahawks allowed 35.5 points in September 1977, but played only two games that month.
