Seahawks Blog
Danny O'Neil covers the Seahawks for The Seattle Times.
An oversight Posted by Jose Romero at 12:36 PM Thanks to a reader named Michael, who e-mailed me about my story on Joe Tafoya in today's Times. I asserted that the Seahawks have seven defensive linemen who are virtual locks to make the roster. Let's make it eight with defensive tackle Craig Terrill, whom Michael correctly pointed out I did not mention. That means Tafoya might very well have to surpass Chris Cooper, and that's only assuming the Seahawks keep nine defensive linemen. We'll see who steps up and plays big tonight in the last opportunity to shine for a roster spot. Keep an eye on Cooper (No. 92), Tafoya (No. 69), LB Lance Laury (No. 47), LB Isaiah Kacyvenski (No. 58), LB Cornelius Wortham (No. 50), S Oliver Celestin (No. 40), S Etric Pruitt (No. 35), TE Matt Murphy (No. 89), WR Maurice Mann (No. 17), WR Ben Obomanu (No. 87), FB David Kirtman (No. 34) and RB Josh Scobey (No. 33). Those players are on the bubble to make the final 53-man roster.
