Confirmed: Patrick Kerney has bone chips removed

Posted by Danny O'Neil

Defensive end Patrick Kerney did undergo surgery to remove bone chips from his elbow, a procedure performed here in Seattle. The news was first reported on KING-5 television. Kerney was not scheduled to participate in offseason practices, including this weekend's minicamp, because of surgery to repair a torn labrum last year. The bone-chip removal will not keep him from starting training camp.
