Update, 3:00 p.m.: The Seahawks announced agreements reached with cornerback Ken Lucas and fullback Justin Griffith. Terms on Lucas' are not certain, but it could be a one-year contract. Griffith signed a one-year contract.
The Seahawks are expected to announce agreements with cornerback Ken Lucas and fullback Justin Griffith on Monday afternoon.
It's a one-year deal with Griffith, who is recovering from knee surgery. He feels strong and has worked out for teams, but the Seahawks may ease him back onto the field during the minicamp that begins Friday. Griffith previously played for Greg Knapp in Oakland and before that in Atlanta so he won't need much time to acclimate himself to what is asked in the offense.
Seattle lost fullback Leonard Weaver in free agency. Owen Schmitt -- a fifth-round pick in 2008 -- remains on the roster and Seattle also signed undrafted free-agent Tyler Roehl from North Dakota State, who will get a look at that position.
