Triangle of possibilities

Posted by Danny O'Neil

If the Seahawks end up using the No. 4 pick in Saturday's draft, the consensus is they will be choosing from among this trio of possiblities: LB Aaron Curry, WR Michael Crabtree and QB Mark Sanchez. Here's the scouting appraisal from Seattle's player-personnel czar Ruston Webster on the trio along with a video highlight of each one.

LB Aaron Curry, Wake Forest

RUSTON WEBSTER:, Seattle VP of player-personnel "Aaron Curry can do a lot of things well. He has some ability to blitz. Jim Mora was talking about ... a difference between a rusher and a blitzer. He has that ability and he has a feel in coverage. Smart player. Big. Fast. All those good things."
QB Mark Sanchez, USC

RUSTON WEBSTER: "I see a good decision-maker. Accurate thrower. Excellent feet, ability to move in the pocket. Throws with good timing. Doesn't hold the ball. Not scared to make a tough throw if he has to. I saw a competitor."
WR Michael Crabtree, Texas Tech

RUSTON WEBSTER: Crabtree is a competitive, physical wide receiver with good quickness, and hands. So he's kind of one of those guys that is angry after the catch. Doesn't go down, he goes for more. A talented guy."
