Chiefs sign Bobby Engram
Posted by Danny O'Neil
Wide receiver Bobby Engram signed with the Chiefs, the team announced on Tuesday. His departure from Seattle is not surprising, and was in many ways considered likely after T.J. Houshmandzadeh signed.
Engram, 36, played the past eight seasons with Seattle. He re-signed with Seattle two years ago only after an appeal from coach Mike Holmgren. He caught 94 passes in 2007 and sought a contract extension in the offseason but the sides could not agree.
