Consider this an appetizer for the discussion of "The Blind Side" -- which will begin in earnest later this month. Michael Lewis was kind enough to spare about 20 minutes to discuss his book, which does an incredible job of explaining the reason left tackles are the second highest-paid position in football and also describing the unlikely path Michael Oher took to reach the point where he is expected to be a first-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
I plan to lead a discussion of the book after I return from the scouting combine on Feb. 23. In the meantime, here's a link to the book via Powell's Books.
