Seahawks rap sheet under Tim Ruskell

There's potentially one omission from the following list of arrests of Seahawk players since Tim Ruskell became president, and that's Jordan Babineaux. Babineaux was suspended for one game at the start of last season for some sort of incident. Babineaux would not reveal what happened, and a public-records check in Washington state and his home county in Texas did not turn up anything to explain the suspension. That discipline was consistent with a violation involving alcohol or drugs.
| Player | Date | Charge | Discipline |
| Koren Robinson | May 6, 2005 | Suspicion of DUI | Released by Seahawks, June 2, 2005 |
| Robinson was the first manifestation of what behavior the Seahawks would not tolerate. He was re-signed to Seattle in September 2008, and that showed that there is room for redemption in that behavior code. The Seahawks re-signed Robinson after research found Robinson had changed. "This was a lot of research," Ruskell said of the decision. "But Koren's a good person ... All of us believe in second chances, but this could be a good story and Koren wants that." | |||
| Player | Date | Charge | Discipline |
| Sean Locklear | Jan. 15, 2006 | Suspicion of domestic violence | Suspended one game by NFL, Oct. 29, 2006 |
| Locklear was arrested the week before the NFC Championship Game. He played in the game, but was suspended for one game for violating the league's personal-conduct policy. | |||
| Player | Date | Charge | Discipline |
| Bryce Fisher | April 11, 2006 | 4th degree assault | Charge dismissed, Feb. 21, 2007 |
| The case was dismissed, and in the docket, the prosecutor noted that the victim was unwilling to proceed. Fisher was initially charged with misdemeanor assault. He was traded by Seattle in September 2007, but Ruskell was unequivocal in saying the decision had nothing to do with the arrest. Ruskell characterized Fisher as a "model" Seahawks in his two-plus seasons with the team. | |||
| Player | Date | Charge | Discipline |
| Jerramy Stevens | March 12, 2007 | Drunk driving | Found guilty, Sept. 7, 2007 |
| Stevens was not on the Seahawks roster at the time of his arrest. He was an unrestricted free agent at the time of his arrest in Arizona. Stevens was suspended a total of three games over his past two seasons in Tampa Bay because of this incident because the drunk-driving conviction and the marijuana possession -- which was noted in the police report but not charged -- were treated as separate incidents. | |||
| Player | Date | Charge | Discipline |
| Rocky Bernard | April 21, 2008 | Investigation of domestic violence | Stipulated order of continuance, June 16, 2008 |
| Bernard was suspended for the season-opener by the NFL in 2008. | |||
| Player | Date | Charge | Discipline |
| Lofa Tatupu | May 10, 2008 | Suspicion of DUI | Pleaded guilty, July 7, 2008 |
| Tatupu was not suspended by the league, and the team did not disclose any discipline it imposed upon Tatupu. | |||
| Player | Date | Charge | Discipline |
| Leroy Hill | Jan. 24, | Misdemeanor drug possession | |
| Hill was found with two bags of marijuana in a backpack in his car. The expectation is that he will face some sort of discipline for the arrest. | |||
