C Chris Spencer to injured reserve, Na'Shan Goddard signed
Posted by Danny O'Neil
Center Chris Spencer becomes the 11th Seahawk to be placed on injured reserve on Wednesday. The Seahawks signed tackle Na'Shan Goddard to take Spencer's place on the roster. Goddard was waived by the Giants on Aug. 31 and later signed to the practice squad.
Goddard went to college at South Carolina. He was signed by the Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He was waived by the Giants during the season and signed by the Jets. He was active for one game during the 2006 season, but did not play. He spent 2007 with the Giants practice squad.
Also, guard Erik Robertson was signed to Seattle's practice squad, taking the place of quarterback Travis Lulay, who was released Wednesday.
Guard Mike Wahle remains on the active roster though coach Mike Holmgren said Monday that he is not expecting the veteran guard to play this week.
