Post-game notes

Posted by Danny O'Neil

Clinton Portis rushed for 143 yards, which was the highest single-game total allowed by the Seahawks this season. It was the most yards an opponent rushed for against Seattle since December 2006 when Frank Gore gained 144 yards in a Thursday night game against San Francisco.

Through three quarters, Seattle had 127 yards rushing and Washington had 110 yards rushing. Washington rushed for 77 yards in the fourth quarter, Seattle ran for 12.

Seattle has outscored its last three opponents 26-10 in the fourth quarter. Yes, the Seahawks have lost all three of those games so it really doesn't mean all that much except that Seattle has become better at making the losses not quite so lopsided.
