Jennings jams

Posted by Jose Romero

Seahawks cornerback Kelly Jennings, maligned this season for his struggles in one-on-one coverage, seems to have righted himself. That's if you give him a pass for trying to contain the giant Arizona Cardinals receivers two games ago. Sunday against Washington, Jennings was credited with three pass breakups. The first came three plays into the game when Jennings knocked down a pass for Santana Moss.

He did get called for a 21-yard pass interference penalty.

"Early in the season, I wasn't really going the way I'd like as far as making plays," Jennings said. "That Miami game, that play happenend and ever since then, I just kind of put my faith in God and just been going out there to play."

Jennings had a key breakup at Miami three games ago that seemed to spark his resurgence.
