Seneca Wallace, Weaver return to practice
Posted by Danny O'Neil
Matt Hasselbeck will start Sunday's game against Arizona after finishing the week of practice as the first-team quarterback.
"I think he's had a wonderful week," coach Mike Holmgren said. "He's clearly excited about being back. He had a little spring in his step and he threw the ball well. I think everyone enjoyed the fact that he was back practicing again."
Fullback Leonard Weaver returned to practice and took some repetitions with the first team, but it's not certain he will play. Coach Mike Holmgren said he'll have to wait and see. Weaver suffered an injury to his ribs, and it's a question of pain tolerance.
Backup quarterback Seneca Wallace also returned to practice after suffering a groin injury in last week's game. He would be able to play in a pinch, but Charlie Frye may be the backup quarterback on Sunday with Wallace in uniform as the emergency quarterback.
Hasselbeck, Deion Branch, Lofa Tatupu, Koren Robinson and Seneca Wallace are all listed as probable on Seattle's official injury report, which means it is virtually certain they will play.
