Monday: Matt Hasselbeck to undergo weekly strength test
Posted by Danny O'Neil
Monday is the day Matt Hasselbeck undergoes his weekly test to see if his leg is strong enough to return to practice this week.
"Until they tell me he's going to shut it down, it's going to be a week-to-week thing," coach Mike Holmgren said on his radio show on KIRO (710 AM).
Holmgren also said the team has hired someone to work with Hasselbeck in his rehabilitation. Holmgren was asked last week if he expected Hasselbeck would be able to play again. He said that he did expect Hasselbeck back, but when you're dealing something like an injury that's affecting a nerve in the back, there are no certainties.
