Deion Branch, Matt Hasselbeck won't play; Floyd Womack returns

Matt Hasselbeck has not been cleared to play as he continues rehabilitating an injured disk in his back. Coach Mike Holmgren said he expects Hasselbeck to play again this season, but conceded that when it comes to backs and nerves, it's a little bit of guesswork for everyone.

Deion Branch's heel is no longer as swollen, but it remains sore. Holmgren said Branch tried running, but won't be able to run.

Right guard Floyd Womack returned to practice Friday. He left Wednesday's workout halfway through practice because of an illness and missed Thursday.

Finally, linebacker Leroy Hill was not fined for his hit on Ike Hilliard in Sunday's game at Tampa Bay. José Miguel Romero reported that after an inquiry to the league office.
