Audio: Jon Gruden on Joey Galloway, his team's saber-toothed tiger

Posted by Danny O'Neil

Wide receiver Joey Galloway missed the past four games because of a knee injury, which is a continuation of the litany of injuries that goes back to last season.

Coach Jon Gruden said Wednesday it's possible Galloway could play, but that will depend upon practice this week, but that description really sells Gruden's description short. He called the 38-year-old Galloway his team's white tiger, who makes an appearance once every six months at Busch Gardens, which is an amusement park in Florida. Now, Gruden said, Galloway is in danger of becoming the saber-toothed tiger, an extinct species.
