No fine for hit on Matt Hasselbeck
Posted by Danny O'Neil
The NFL did not administer a fine for Giants defensive tackle Fred Robbins' hit on Matt Hasselbeck in the first quarter of Sunday's loss. Hasselbeck was hit after releasing the ball, but coach Mike Holmgren and Hasselbeck each said it was a close play. There was no penalty on the play during the game and no fine.
Also, cornerback Josh Wilson was not fined for his second-quarter hit on Domenik Hixon, which knocked the Giants receiver out of the game with a concussion.
