Deion Branch: Heel injury
Posted by Danny O'Neil
Deion Branch was not available to answer questions after Sunday's game. Coach Mike Holmgren said Branch hurt his right heel. Branch was playing in his first game since suffering a torn knee ligament in his left knee. The injury occurred in the first half. He did not return for the second half.
Holmgren said Branch was the only injury that could keep a player out, but he expressed hope it wouldn't be too long. We'll find out more about his injury on Monday, but it sounds as if it is something that could affect his status for next week's game.
