Report: Jordan Kent returns to Seattle practice squad
Posted by Danny O'Neil
The Oregonian has learned that Kent cleared waivers and is returning to the Seahawks practice squad. We'll still be waiting to hear about Justin Forsett.
Update at 2:16 p.m.: Forsett was claimed by the Colts, according to someone who saw the NFL transactions wire. His agent just confirmed the Colts had claimed him.
As for Seattle's rationale in cutting two players who were among the team's most productive in the exhibition games? Coach Mike Holmgren said, "The preseason is the preseason. I'm not telling you anything you don't know ... Both those players are young players with an upside, but right now, we're trying to do some things that help right now."
