Lofa going to be "OK"
Posted by Jose Romero
Coach Mike Holmgren said so moments ago on his Monday morning radio show on KIRO-AM. Tatupu injured a thumb in the second quarter at Buffalo and got a soft cast put on it at halftime but it looks like he will be available this week.
As for WR Nate Burleson and RB Maurice Morris, who sustained knee injuries Sunday, Holmgren said he'll know more later today.
"They don't appear to be 'long' injuries," Holmgren said, referring to long-term recovery. He said Burleson had a reoccurrence of the same type of injury he dealt with in Minnesota in 2005, a sprained left knee. Burleson missed three games that season with the injury and four weeks -- the Vikings had a bye in between.
Holmgren was also asked about the fake field goal that resulted in a touchdown pass when the Seahawks failed to notice Buffalo's Ryan Denney lined up far to their right and were caught unprepared to cover him.
Holmgren likened the play to "the bully on the beach kicking sand in your face."
