Cooper, Tripplett out of scrimmage

Posted by Jose Romero

Just been informed that DE Chris Cooper has an unspecified leg injury and DT Larry Tripplett a knee problem that forced them out of practices today and will keep them from playing in the scrimmage tomorrow.

Both are expected back next week. I had forgotten to mention P Ryan Plackemeier in the players that are out two posts ago, and he could start kicking in practice next week.

Damn, what is up with our d-line and injuries? Lets try to save some for the real games. Just condition them and get them ready for the regular season.

Danny,

How has Tripplett been doing? I was excited to see him coming back to Seattle, but haven't heard a single thing about his performance at camp. I know we have a bit of a logjam at DL, but do you expect him to make it? Do you expect Tubbs to come back and play injury-free? Thanks in advance for your response, and great blog!
