Seahawks set to sign O. Schmitt
Posted by Jose Romero
Owen Schmitt, the fullback and fifth-round draft pick from West Virginia, has agreed to terms of a contract with the Seahawks, and an announcement should come as soon as tomorrow.
It's likely a four-year deal.
That would make four picks signed -- Schmitt, LS Tyler Schmitt, K Brandon Coutu and RB Justin Forsett.

it might take some time before he is pro ready but for now he will be a blast to watch on special teams
could start on every down in a few years and could hold that spot for a decade!

I hope he gets a good uniform number that the fans will have fun wearing for the next decade. Can an RB wear "O"?

Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy when I heard that the Hawks drafted him and I'm glad that they finally have a deal done. I can't wait to see him in a Seattle uniform bashing heads and paving the way for whoever is running behind him.
