Mack pays a visit
Posted by Jose Romero
Yeah, that Mack. Mack Strong, former Seahawks fullback, dropped by to watch today's practice at team headquarters. He looks well and spent some time chatting with members of the media.
The rain continued to fall but guys are still looking good in practice. Namely WR Jordan Kent, and several other receivers for that matter. Catch of the day goes to former Oregon State TE Joe Newton, though, who leaped high over LB D.D. Lewis to bring down a pass from QB Dalton Bell.
DT Rocky Bernard worked with the No. 1 defense, and rookie DE Lawrence Jackson also took some snaps with that group.
The Seahawks have their annual training camp intrasquad scrimmage set for Aug. 2 at Qwest Field. No other info beyond that at this point.
