Slippin' into darkness

Posted by Jose Romero

The title of perhaps the best song by War, a 1970s R&B band. "Low Rider" is the one War is most famous for.

No, the Seahawks weren't slipping into darkness, but they were slipping around that wet grass at team headquarters in practice today. So it isn't fair to grade the play of the receivers and defensive backs because the DBs had to play so far off the receivers in coverage drills.

The play of the day came from CB Kelly Jennings, who laid out on a dive to bat away a Seneca Wallace pass for Logan Payne.

Don't forget "Why Can't We Be Friends" in any mention of War.
