Packers release Robinson
Posted by Jose Romero
This was a few days ago but bears mentioning since Koren Robinson was a former Seattle first-round pick who spent his first four seasons with the Seahawks. And of course many of you know about his off-the-field issues.
Seattle DT Craig Terrill was to perform tonight at the Triple Door. I know that the show is going on as I write this, but it's worth saying that when Craig leaves football, he certainly has a future as a musician. He gave me one of his CDs ("CT", on sale at local QFCs) and although I'm not big on the Mellencamp/folk rock genre, Craig is very talented. Check him out at http://myspace.com/craigterrill.

Koren is beyond help. If he had an opportunity to redeem his worth and he threw it away in spades, why would S'awks waste any time. Holmie put faith in him and stood behind him when he was wizzing all over himself. Game over for K-Rob. I give the stable of youth a shot. Hass will find a connection with at least one or two of them then watch out.

Funny how a guy named 'free beer' scrutinizes someone that supposedly can't 'lay off drugs and alcohol'..if you read the story it said his release wasn't related to his off the field problems. I wish him well in his recovery, as well as his future that hopefully includes the NFL. You shouldn't throw rocks livin' in a glass house.

Any chance the Seahawks look into the trade demand of the Falcons WR Joe Horn. I mean the guy is old, but we could probably get him on the cheap. He would a good, sure-handed receiver for the roster, and could fill-in for the injured Deion Branch. He's not elite anymore, but still serviceable by NFL standards. I think he's worth the risk.
No way Robinson is coming back, he sufficiently burned the bridge with the Seahawks.

Do you think the Seahawks would take another risk on KRob or do think they are happen with the young core of receivers they have right now? Any word on the Engram front?
