USC's Sam Baker became the sixth offensive tackle to be chosen in the first round this season and that doesn't include Branden Albert, the guard from Virginia who is expected to play tackle for the Chiefs in the NFL.
The six tackles chosen in the first 21 picks matches the total first-round picks at the position in the previous three drafts combined. Three tackles were taken in the first round last year, one was picked in the first round in 2006 and two were first-round picks in 2005.
