Thanks for doing this before the draft, at least. If this is true, they should kick this punk off the team. A position of need just became more glaring.

is this the 1st time rocky has had an off the field problem?

he drunk hit his baby momma and is in jail yes a totally f'ed up thing to do but if it is his 1st strike he will still be on the team since there are others around the league that have done way worse

Will be interesting to see how the team handles the situation. We don't want the Hawks becoming the Bengals, and Ruskell has asserted his demand for "character" players. I wouldn't cut Bernard, but if convicted or plea bargained, the team should suspend him without pay for 2 games.

Trade him to NY with a maybe 4th round pick for Shockey..

Well this secures DT in the first round...I see no way that they can just out right cut him because they are very weak at the position. Tim and Mike will sit down with him and get his side of the story and figure out the situation before throwing him under the bus. He is NO pac-man or henry. Come on people...

What would Cortez do? Cortez never hit any women, I say cut Bernard, I would rather go 0-16 than cheer and support a man who hits a woman. I do care if this is his 1st offense there is never never any excuse. I am so bummed I liked Rocky...I stress liked. Cut Bernard sign a hungry draft pick and move on, I don't care how good he is.

If true, trade Bernard to the army or marines. They are waiving felons for enlistments and he can hit all the people he wants!

*seesh* I'm sick of hearing Shockey - he sucks like Chad Johnson..

I'm soo disappointed about Bernard - we should leave this up to the office to decide his fate..

It's a misdemeanor, about the same as a traffic ticket! I know how some of these women can get in your face shake you down for ever dime they think they can get out of you, if your not looking steal it. Some of these little butterflies do things to men that you wouldn't take off a man. To bad he did it, should have gotten a restraining order against her if she a problem.

In today's society, domestic violence is a serious crime, regardless if it's misdemeanor. Holmgren is senstive to these issues and Kathy, his wife, volunteers for a domestic violence advocate group.

I don't think Bernard will be around, unless the charges are dropped or the investigation proves otherwise.

Sorry to say that if these allegations are true, Rocky is gone.

The signs were there! He has anger issues, i know because i've bartended at several bars that he's
been to and seen how agressive he can get. Too
bad, but true. Used too think he was a good guy until he got agro towards the bartender.
