Seahawks sign defensive back Omare Lowe
Posted by Danny O'Neil
Omare Lowe is a familiar name in these parts. Not only did he play for the Washington Huskies, but he was part of the Seahawks training camp in 2005, being let go in the final round of cuts.
Well, he's going to take another crack at making the Seahawks roster. The team announced it signed Lowe to a one-year contract on Monday.
Lowe is a familiar for defensive backs coach Jim Mora, too. Lowe played for Mora in Atlanta in 2006. Lowe spent last season on the injured list, being placed on injured reserve in August.

One year doesn't sound like a confident contract, but what the hey....could work? Do we get new seagals this season too? I'd like to see some 200 pound plus illegal mexican gals this come season shake pom poms, enough of these well built, round breasted, tight butted look good looking female, we need tattoos and blubber rocking and a rolling out there!!!!

Stupid deal...why not just sign all the falcons and get it over with. Falcons suck quit picking up their players

Ken - unfortunately, we can only get former Falcons and Bucs because that's all the connection Ruskell has. I agree, I'm sick of picking up his former players...why do you think our record gets worse every year? We're picking up players from two terrible teams!

Right, throw the good guys away, fish for suckers!
We'll see what they do with the up and coming draft, probably tread up on first round to get a one legged kicker! These Seahawks start going on a down word tern again I'll kiss them off for good, I'm not going to put myself through it again....years and years of bad football.

To free beer - I think you may have 3 or 4 too many - you did get a few words right, but I have a question on "down word tern" - I know what a tern is (a sea bird), but I never heard one called a "word" tern, much less a down one - is there an up word tern?

Yeah Kerney looked great in the playoffs when he shut down the packers running game....glad we overpaid for a regular season player! Just like the Mariners thinking regular season stats bring play off wins...what a bunch of sissies

It's really awesome to have a former husky in the lineup. I think Omare is a great team-player and will be a great asset t for the hawks on and off the field

I don't know why you guys get your panties in a bunch over this. Its not a big deal. He probably won't even make the team. They are just looking to find some guys who want to compete for some special teams positions, which we do need to fill.
FYI to 84Hawk: our record was better last year than it was the year before. Make your dumb ass comments in private where you won't look like such an idiot.

Kerney fucking dissapered when he was needed. Fuck that little sissy faggot and his overpaid former atlanta falcon ass. Ruskell ruined an amazing team with his retartery

What was so amazing about our team before Ruskell came here? We hadn't won a playoff game in 20 years before he joined us. He got rid of all the garbage and brought in Tatupu, Hill, Kerney, Peterson, Grant, Russell. Helped us get to a superbowl. Has built a mentality that will keep us winning for a long time. Kerney is a beast and he can't do it all alone. I didn't see Tapp or Bernard helping out much in that game either.

Hey couger - watch your comment - very inapporpriate!
It's not one man game - it's 11 men teamwork - aren't you dumb?
I agree with 12thmanforlife - Ruskell / Holmgren / etc has done a lot for Seahawks besides great players we have - I like the team chemistry - once again it's not one man show - we don't need that crap
