Lofa Tatupu signs contract extension
Posted by Danny O'Neil
That's what the Seahawks are announcing. It's a multi-year deal. Tatupu has played three seasons with the Seahawks and has been named to the Pro Bowl all three seasons.
Tatupu's agent, Fletcher Smith, has not returned phone messages from The Seattle Times. ESPN.com reports the six-year extension is worth a total of $40 million with more than $16 million Tatupu is virtually guaranteed to earn.

Great news. Great to have a leader like him around. I think he was the key to our d playing as 1 last season.

I agree. Best move of the offseason so far. And for everybody who says Ruskell is terrible, how about what he did to get him?

Gosh, I hope Tru sees this. I also read that Kerney, Grant, Babineaux, and Terrill restructured their contracts so that the team could do this.
